Meet Everest! This adorable face is the largest in the litter, but he is the definition of a gentle giant. He is the most caution of the group and takes a little bit more time to warm up to new things, but once he does he is a big love!
These lovely pups will need a home with a lot of space for them to roam and a job to keep them focused and content. They will require a farm or acreage with 1-acre minimum, indoor/outdoor access, and a family that has large guardian breed experience and understands the costs, care, training, and welfare needs of these dogs.
Puppies need lots of attention and a safe environment for them to grow into great pets. Like any baby, Everest is constantly learning. He will need help to learn the rules in a new house, things like, what to play with, where to go to the bathroom, where to sleep to name a few. He'll need annual health checks with his veterinarian for the rest of his life to keep him in optimum health. Raising a puppy is a big commitment but well worth it when you consider they will be a part of your family for many years.
They will be foster-to-adopt until they are spayed/neutered so please keep in mind that they will have to come back to Salmon Arm to for their appointments.
if Everest sounds like the right fit for your family, please follow the steps below to fill in an application!
1. Submit an online application https://spca.bc.ca/survey/dog-adoption-application-shuswap/
